Relentless

I saw this poster a couple of days ago while in Fleet Feet. I was reminded how Bill Rodgers dominated the running world winning the NYC marathon in 77 and then both Boston and NYC in 78. Of course he won many more marathons in that day. For a while…he was a running superstar. To this day he remains an inspiration to runners everywhere.

I love his quote here. "RELENTLESS: To be a consistent winner means preparing not just one day, one month, or even one year-but for a lifetime."

Excellence isn't something you do in small bites. It's a BIG decision you make once and then rise to it daily. Remember, if you want to be a consistent winner, whether your arena is your home, your church, or you career, you'll need to be relentless.
