Change isn’t a four-letter word

I saw an interesting quote yesterday attributed to Robert Kennedy. Progress is a nice word. But change is its motivator and change has its enemies.

Isn’t that true? Whenever you choose to life the banner of CHANGE! you can expect dissenters. There’s a whole population of people out there who are sworn to protect the status quo. They are firmly held in the grip of inertia and your calls for something different just upset their cozy comfort zones.

It’s time for change. Those things that are in your heart to do…DO THEM! Don’t allow popular opinion to determine which way you should go. Down through the ages greatness has always started in the heart, not in popular opinion.

Get quiet and listen to your heart, then get moving, then get ready for opposition. It is the way of things. In many cases, the louder the voices of dissent, the deeper the conviction that you’re on the right track.
