But what about this…

Last week I wrote a post about goals and identified a few steps in writing goals that you could stand a better chance of actually making. One of those steps was "If it ain't written, it ain't real." In other words, write the goal down and tell somebody. It was my contention that if you tell someone, you stand a better chance of making the goal because you'll be held accountable; if not by the person you told then by your own words. I still feel this way. I think.

So, what do you think? It's hard to argue with data. I still think it's better to let someone know. When you tell others and get it outside your own head it becomes much more tangible. But that's me. What about you? What do you think?
